Data Center Mechanical Engineer - LATAM

Responsibilities

• Participate and review data center site selection and contractual evaluations, design solutions, and support project executions through construction to final site acceptance.
• Participate and review Data Center MEP Design and other necessary disciplines for new data center builds and data hall fit outs.
• Create data hall layout plans and perform test fits to validate server capacity plans and failover calculations.
• Participate in Testing and Commissioning Discussions to determine required tests to verify design elements.
• Support the DC Engineering FM team to become a subject matter expert and understand how to overcome design limitations and risks.
• Conduct a periodic audit or assessment to assess the effectiveness and practicality of the design in use on our data centers.
• Be an ambassador to explain data center infrastructure design to visitors.
