About the UK Data Engineering team

The Data Engineer will be part of the UK Data Engineering team as subject matter expert, responsible for the acquisition, transformation and delivery of retail data to the Hiscox UK business unit.

This team directly deals with a wide base of internal clients that we are required to support with valuable information, with the aim to back their business decisions and contribute to Hiscox success.

Currently building a new data platform based on Databricks and Azure technologies, the aim is to be able to support all the UK operational data needs.

The role

As part of Data Engineering team, you will be expected to share your time between supporting cloud platform, engage with internal stakeholders and support the on-premise platform up to discontinuation.
