Qualifications
- Manage all database instances including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Perform database maintenance and tuning activities to ensure high availability and performance
- Manage database capacity planning and scalability processes
- Design, operate, and maintain PostgreSQL and MSSQL high availability clusters (e.g. Patroni, streaming replication, SQL Server Always On)
- Automate manual database operations within defined timeframes
- Implement best practices to continuously improve service quality
- Manage database backup, restore, and recovery operations
- Provide high-quality database support for development teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and administering NoSQL and RDBMS databases (PostgreSQL required; MSSQL knowledge is a strong plus)
