**SAP Sybase DBA (Remote)**:
We are seeking a skilled **SAP Sybase ASE** Database Administrator to join a dynamic project for a duration of approximately six months.
This is a remote opportunity based in Mexico, with flexible working hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and maintain SAP Sybase ASE environments, including **installation, configuration, and monitoring**.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, index management, and statistical analysis.
- Ensure database security by managing access controls, roles, encryption, and secure backups.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
- Utilize monitoring tools to guarantee system availability and stability.
- Develop SQL and shell scripts for automating routine administrative tasks.
