- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods.
- Ensure all pastry items are produced according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Support the Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie in daily pastry kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the pastry section.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering requirements.
- Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and quality.
- Assist with menu development and the creation of innovative dessert offerings.
- Ensure efficient use of ingredients to minimize waste and control food costs.
- Train, guide, and support junior kitchen staff when required.
