Job Description
The Application Engineer will be responsible for optimising and validating equipment selections for various projects, as well as collaborating closely with the sales and operations teams. The role will be reviewing tender specifications, proposing optimised equipment selections, and liaising with consultants and contractors to clarify technical aspects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for optimising and validating the selected equipment for DX, VRF, and applied projects, reviewing tender specs, and proposing optimised selections.
- Work closely with the sales team to propose value engineering with cost-saving options and liaise with consultants/contractors when required to clarify technical aspects for specific projects.
- Validate quantity, scope, and configuration of the tender specifications.
- Prepare accurate technical selections and sales quotations.
- Prepare budgetary and final optimised commercial quotations.
