Design Engineer (BIW)

Position: Design Engineer (BIW)

Department: Vehicle Engineering – 3-Wheeler – BIW COE

Roles and Responsibility:

1. Preparation of concepts, detailed parametric design (components and assemblies) and manufacturing 2D drawings in Siemens NX for different system and subsystem of BIW in a complex package envelop from predevelopment to series production phase.
2. Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for BIW assembly using CAD software (NX).
3. Record and manage BIW system, subsystem, and component level design requirements through cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Detailed benchmarking and master section preparation for different system and subsystem of BIW and closure for battery electric vehicles
5. Interface and DMU analysis and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders to resolve packing and interface challenges.
