Responsibilities
- Ensure safety by scaling loose rock, drilling & installing rock bolts
- Operate drills & drilling machines to produce blasting holes
- Support mining advancement by installing air & water pipes or operating ore loading machinery
- Load explosives, set fuses, detonate explosives for blasting patterns & rock fragmentation in underground mines
- Operate scooptram or LHD machine to load & haul ore from stopes, drifts and drawpoints to ore passes
