Responsibilities
- Securely deploy and configure software to remote IoT devices
- Participate in diagnosing and fixing device issues remotely and implementing procedures and tooling to help enable the field team to self‑diagnose and fix issues themselves
- Improve our redundancies so that the impact of a hardware failure is minimized
- Improve our autoconfiguration so that field operations do near‑zero on‑site configuration to install our hardware
- Improve our observability and monitoring to detect software or hardware issues before they cause an outage
- Monitor bandwidth and optimize software configurations to reduce bandwidth usage
- Interface with customer IT teams to deploy Aquabyte solutions
- Ability to travel occasionally for 2–4 days at a time away from Puerto Varas
- Fluency in Spanish and English, in both writing and speaking
- Physically able to lift 25kg
