Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Summary This Advanced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (ADRT), Computed Tomography (CT), position is assigned to the MEDVAMC Radiology Service Computed Tomography section within Houston to include the CBOCs. The ADRT-CT, employee at this level is fully functional as an Advanced DRT and can carry out the assigned tasks independently. The position at this level has varying assignments including support of general x-ray as needed. Responsibilities Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Maintains all MEDVAMC requirements, including current BLS certification on a bi-annual basis. Demonstrates expert knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to CT imaging. Performs advanced post-processing, including 3D rendering, angiographic reformats, and multi-planar reconstructions.
