Job Description

The Dietician coordinates all phases of nutrition care including nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education and counseling of patients and outpatients in a variety of settings. The Dietician contributes to the health and wellness through nutrition to individuals, families and communities.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or comparable major preferred and or per state requirements
+ Registered dietitian (RD) licensure or certificate required
+ Two years’ experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
