Detailed Job Description

Reporting to the Vice-President, Policy, Public and Legal Affairs, the Director, Communications and Engagement provides strategic leadership for the NCC’s corporate communications and engagement functions. This role oversees the planning, development and execution of integrated communications and engagement strategies that advance the NCC’s mandate, strengthen public trust, and enhance organizational reputation.

The Director leads multidisciplinary teams responsible for:

• Strategic communications, internal communications, media relations and issues management
• Digital communications, marketing and content strategy
• Graphic design and linguistic services
• Public, stakeholder and Indigenous engagement and consultation
• Partnerships, outreach and client services
