Job Description
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area
- Dispose of waste and properly handle recyclable materials
- Assist in kitchen cleaning, including sweeping and mopping floors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support kitchen staff by restocking clean dishes and supplies
- Monitor dishwashing machines and report any issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager
Qualifications
- No formal education required; high school diploma (preferred)
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen setting (a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
