Our client is seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that stock holding is managed as per the policy
- Monitor stock turns, stock holding costs and ABC Classification
- Introduce management controls to mitigate stock variances / losses
- Manage product classification and storage locations accordingly
- Manage stock rotation and traceability
- Manage warehousing / inventory related data, reports and KPI’s
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock counts
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and organizing of goods in the warehouse
- Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement measures to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
