Job Description
As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating complex and sophisticated high-voltage substation, transmission, and steel design packages. You will coordinate with large engineering firms, using both two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) engineering software. You will support internal project management.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Designs in Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk AutoCAD to support project sales revenue generated by engineering services.
+ Reads and interprets customer drawings and professional engineer (PE) calculations to engineering output.
+ Creates detailed engineered drawings for customer approval and fabrication purposes using Autodesk software.
+ Creates general arrangement substation layouts in 2D and 3D using steel structures and corresponding major equipment and purchased parts, using either customer-supplied bill of material or developed bill of material.
