DT Teacher

PK Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher to join a well‑regarded secondary school in the Leeds area. This is a full‑time, long‑term opportunity starting ASAP and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year, or until the postholder returns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Support student progress and maintain high expectations in the classroom
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to the wider school community

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Design & Technology within secondary schools
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
