Have you recently completed an Education Studies degree and achieved QTS, and now looking for the right KS1 school to begin your career?
This one-form entry Gateshead primary school (around 220 pupils) has a strong KS1 team and experienced leadership. The Headteacher is passionate about developing new teachers properly, ensuring manageable workload and structured mentoring.
They are seeking an ECT to teach Year 2, with the intention of reviewing for a permanent contract after the first term.
The Role:
Teaching a Year 2 class
Delivering phonics and core subjects
Building strong classroom routines
Developing assessment skills with guidance
