Elder Care Provider

Hi there, my name is Cecilia and I am seeking a compassionate and reliable care provider to come on weekends. My dad Robbie had a brain injury a year and a half ago, he’s 68 but needs someone with him to guide his day / day as his memory was severely damaged. He can fluctuate from peaceful and calm to agitated at times, repeating thoughts and does best with gentle guidance and engagement rather than being left alone, discussion and activities. This is a part-time, live-out position to give myself ( his primary care taker ) a break. The ideal candidate will be patient, attentive, creative in activities and things to do together, and be able to help with personal care if needed ( dads largely continent but needs cueing and assistance with steps.
The main responsibilities include engaging in meaningful conversations and facilitating enjoyable activities. Additionally, assistance with personal care and providing respite for the primary caregiver will be required. The working hours are ...
