Our machine building client in Toronto, ON is seeking a highly skilledSenior Electrical Design Engineerto lead the design, detailing, testing, commissioning, and customer support phases of custom automated equipment projects. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, on-time electrical designs that meet customer specifications and production schedules.
What You’ll DoDesign and detailelectrical control systemsusingAutoCAD Electrical and EPlan
Develop and modify electrical drawings based on past projects and new customer requirements
Generate accurateBills of Materials (BOMs)and source appropriate electrical components
Program and troubleshootPLC & HMI systems(multi-platform)
Design and integratemotion control systems (servos, VFDs), safety
Commission and install automated equipment at customer sites
