Responsibilities
- Provides maintenance engineering support to the Maintenance division and other CMBC departments on matters relating to the safe, efficient and cost‑effective repair and overhaul of fleet vehicles.
- Ensures fleet vehicles comply with provincial and federal standards and that related equipment is certified and approved by WorkSafeBC or other regulatory bodies.
- Assists Maintenance Engineers, technical support staff, and supervisory personnel on a variety of maintenance engineering projects, studies, test programs and evaluations related to vehicles, components, tooling, test and diagnostic equipment, and associated infrastructure, under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered in British Columbia.
- Provides project‑management support for bus procurement projects on behalf of CMBC.
