Job Description
Position Summary
The Electrical Design Engineer will develop electrical design HDLC units such as Inrow CDU and Inrack CDU, as well as 2 phase products.
He/she will closely follow objectives of quality, environment and costs while working in cooperation with manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, procurement, suppliers, mechanical engineering, and product marketing.
Responsibilities
Design new and low voltage electrical enclosures (>240 volts AC).
Harness design, schematic creation and 3D modeling of wiring and cabling inside equipment.
Experience with CREO Cabling module is preferred.
Select appropriate electrical components that meet agency requirements (UL, NEC, CSA, CE).
Collaborate with other groups, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software developers, system test, customer support, and manufacturing.
Qualifications
8 years of experience in hardware development roles.
