Utilities Field Inspector
As a Utilities Field Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe, high‑quality installation, maintenance, and rehabilitation of critical utilities infrastructure. Your work directly supports construction oversight and ensures compliance with project specifications, strengthening the communities where Canadians live, work, and thrive.
Projects are typically within the Toronto area, with some in the Horseshoe area. This position can be full‑time permanent or part‑time.
Responsibilities
- Review IFC package prior to construction start.
- Participate in pre‑construction and post‑construction/lessons learned meetings.
- Complete field risk assessment & hazard evaluation, review contractor’s safety procedures, and complete contractor’s site orientation.
- Perform random daily field inspections for assigned projects.
