Electrical Project Purchaser

Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience. NorTec Electric is an electrical contractor servicing Saskatoon and Regina reaching the greater part of Saskatchewan as we continue to grow. We are looking to expand our operations and currently looking for a Purchaser to join our team. Working side by side with our Project Managers and Superintendents, you will lead material purchasing for our ongoing and future projects throughout the province.

Responsibilities

• Receiving purchase requisitions from Project Managers and field staff
• Sourcing and purchasing materials for various jobs at the lowest cost
• Ensuring materials are promptly delivered to sites
• Completing assigned purchase orders
• Coordinating returns with suppliers and staff
• Communicating information both verbally and written to staff and sub-trades
