Primary Role
The Electrical Systems Technologist develops electrical documentation and integration designs that support the distribution of power and data within equipment and furniture systems. The role focuses on defining electrical interconnections between computing hardware, displays, control systems, motors, and peripheral devices.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical System Documentation
- Develop electrical line diagrams illustrating power distribution and signal pathways within integrated equipment systems.
- Create interconnect diagrams showing electrical connections between hardware components such as:
- PCs and computing equipment
- Displays and monitors
- Control boxes and controllers
- Lift motors and actuators
- Network devices
- Peripheral devices
- Document routing and termination points for power, data, and control cabling.
