Job Description
- Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults across motors, control systems, instrumentation, switchboards, and distribution networks
- Work on PLC-controlled systems and support basic automation troubleshooting within processing operations
- Install, test, and commission electrical components and plant upgrades as required
- Ensure all electrical work complies with WA electrical standards and site safety procedures
- Conduct routine inspections and condition monitoring to minimise downtime
- Support shutdown and planned maintenance activities including major plant outages
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems (SAP or similar)
- Collaborate with mechanical trades, operators, and engineering teams to optimise plant performance
