Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment on board vessels.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards pertaining to electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, including generators and installation systems.
- Assist in the operation of vessel machinery, including cranes, under the supervision of senior crew members.
- Document maintenance activities and contribute to reports for equipment status and repairs.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical engineering preferred.
