Overview

18 Week Support welcomes a motivated Endoscopy HCA to provide support across Hampshire’s endoscopy services. This role supports patients before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, assisting nurses and endoscopists to ensure safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support patients throughout their endoscopy journey, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Assist nurses and endoscopists during procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP).
• Prepare clinical areas, equipment and stock complying with infection prevention and control standards.
• Undertake patient observations and deliver general patient care within the unit.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain high standards of patient safety.
