Job Responsibilities
- To review customers’ design and documents (CAD data, drawings, specifications, etc.) for better manufacturability and to provide proposals/feedback or seek clarifications from customers.
- Perform process planning, generate part arrangement, Cam editing instructions and production documents for manufacturing processes.
- Liaise with Cam section on generation of soft tooling to support production.
- Liaise with tooling vendors on fabrication of hard tooling.
- Perform initial DFM (Design for Manufacturing) review prior to confirmation of customer’s design or order.
- Work with Material Planners and Purchasing on the processing and material positioning for the product.
- To monitor and follow-up on production feedback via engineering change request and to take the appropriate actions to implement upon appropriate approval process.
