Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor development & sourcing of Plastics, Rubber, Forgings, Castings & Machined parts
- Understanding engineering drawings & manufacturing processes
- Handling APQP for new product development
- Tracking part development as per project milestones
- Component costing, cost reduction & VAVE (7-step) implementation
- Ensuring material cost meets target
- SAP exposure mandatory
Preferred Experience:
- Automotive Tier 1 / Tier 2 background
- Development Purchase / Manufacturing Engineering experience
Skills:
- Good English communication
- Team player with proactive approach
- Presentation & coordination skills
- Hindi preferred
