Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities - THT Equipment

  • Install, commission, and validate THT equipment (wave, selective, manual stations)
  • Set and optimize machine parameters (temperature, conveyor speed, flux settings)
  • Ensure proper functioning of solder pot, preheater, and fluxer systems
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of THT equipment
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and minimize downtime
  • Calibrate equipment and maintain accuracy of process parameters
  • Monitor machine performance and improve reliability and uptime
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for support
  • Support production during line setup, changeover, and new product trials
  • Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, and process standards
  • Train technicians and operators on equipment handling and maintenance
  • Maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, and documentation
