Engineer Utilities (Roads Experience)

Job Duties

Construction Supervision & Quality Control

• Supervise and inspect the construction of wet and dry utilities (water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, HV/LV cables, street lighting, telecom and ITS works) to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and RTA standards.
• Monitor the contractors work for adherence to approved method statements, quality plans and safety procedures.
• Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and as‑built drawings for utilities works.
• Witness and verify utility testing and commissioning activities ensuring conformity to standards.
• Identify and report non‑conformances ensuring corrective actions are implemented by the contractor.

Coordination & Interface Management

• Coordinate with RTA, DEWA, Etisalat, DU and other authorities to secure necessary NOCs, inspections and approvals.
