Position: Engineering Draftsman
Overview: The Engineering Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for construction and manufacturing projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of engineering principles and standards. The draftsman will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that designs are accurately translated into functional plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain drawings and revisions with efficient folder management, ensuring they are readily available upon request.
Cross-verify drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and actual measurement sheets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Prepare as-built drawings or update existing drawings in coordination with site measurements.
Develop plant layouts and equipment layouts as per project requirements.
Possess a general understanding of civil engineering standards to prepare relevant drawings.
