Job Description
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll work closely with the VP of Engineering, the founding team, and your peers to scale the engineering organization while preserving a culture that values autonomy, high quality, and rapid delivery.
Engineering Manager ResponsibilitiesManage a team of 3–5 Engineers and hire an additional 3–5 Engineers, covering Product, Site Reliability, and Design specializations.
Provide feedback on product and technical specifications to help engineers identify where to cut scope or improve quality, influencing decisions without making the final call.
Develop engineers so they can independently handle large, loosely defined projects with minimal intervention.
Engage in system debugging, shipping small bug fixes, and enhancing developer experience to keep engineering skills current while staying off the critical path.
