Engineering Manager (Rail)

The Engineering Manager will be accountable and responsible for all of the design and engineering activities (all disciplines) within their designated sector, with coordination from the sector lead (Head of Sector/Sector Director) and the Project Managers for each project. The role will include being the functional leader for Engineers and Designers, both for internal resource and the supply chain, through a matrix style organisation chart in direct collaboration with their line managers, the heads of discipline engineering. As part of the role they shall support work winning, estimating, procurement, construction and commissioning activities for the projects within their sector.
