JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the Engineering Department and ensuring a properly functioning, safe, and secure building.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Building Maintenance

• Supervise building maintenance activities, staff, contractors, tenants, and landlord relationships.
• Direct, evaluate, and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure building systems operate at peak performance.
• Regularly communicate with landlord and facility partners.
• Conduct building audits, develop work plans, and implement cost‑effective solutions consistent with the company’s overall vision.
• Ensure the building meets all legislative and operational requirements.
• Ensure 24‑hour service availability.
• Implement initiatives aimed at improving processes, safety, and efficiencies while achieving cost reductions.
