Job Description
Sensata is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team.
General Responsibilities
- Assist in new product design development and design upgrades to existing products
- Perform engineering tests (electrical, mechanical, and product evaluation studies)
- Pre-test checklist procedure, daily monitoring, post-test tear-down procedure
- Acquire, analyze, and document data
- Interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations for future improvements. For example, plotting data and looking for anomalies
- Knowledge of Data Acquisition Systems
- Perform device failure analysis if needed
- Ability to read prints. Knowledge of GD&T is a plus
- Knowledge of measurement methods, such as CMM
- Perform studies to validate internal measurement systems (Gage R&R, MSA)
- Must have working knowledge of basic statistics (mean, sigma, Cp, Cpk, etc.)
