Engineering Technician

Sensata is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team.General Responsibilities:- Assist in new product design development and design upgrades to existing products- Perform engineering tests (electrical, mechanical, and product evaluation studies)- Pre-test checklist procedure, Daily monitoring, Post-test tear-down procedure- Acquire, analyze, and document data.
- Must be able interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations for future improvements.For example, plotting data and looking for anomalies.
- Knowledge of Data Acquisition Systems- The ability to perform device failure analysis if needed- Ability to read prints.Knowledge of GD&T is a plus- Knowledge of measurement methods, such as CMM.
- Perform studies to validate internal measurement systems (Gage R&R, MSA)- Must have working knowledge of basic statistics (mean, sigma, Cp, Cpk, etc.)- Design and Develop fixtures- Machining skills based on 2D prints or 3D models.Experience on CNC machines hi...
