ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as a Engineering Technician in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command of NAVAL FAC ENGR CMD EUROPE SW ASIA, Italy. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and certification of all types of boilers, including both firetube and watertube boilers, steam boilers, low and high temperature hot water boilers, electric boilers and unfired pressure vessels. You will compile and update inventory and certification status of all Boilers and Unfired Pressure Vessels (UPV) for all Navy and Marine Corps Installations within the FEC area of responsibility (AOR). You will perform certifications in accordance with UFC 3-430-07. You will coordinate and provide technical assistance to all NAVFAC and contract boiler inspectors within the FEC AOR.
