Job Description
English as an Additional Language Consultant - ENG Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires a permanent full-time English as an Additional Language Consultant. The position will be located in Saskatoon and commence on August 27, 2026.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate the implementation and ongoing refinement of Sask DLCs Kindergarten to Grade 12 EAL programming.
Lead the development and maintenance of departmental procedures related to student intake, identification, language assessment, placement, transition, and exit from EAL programming.
Ensure EAL programming aligns with Saskatchewan Ministry expectations, inclusive education practices, and departmental processes.
Monitor implementation of EAL programming across grade levels and campuses, identifying opportunities to improve consistency and responsiveness, and provide program updates and recommendations to the Superintendent of Student Supports.
