Job Description
The Environmental Manager is responsible for leading environmental compliance and implementation of the Project Sustainability Management Plan (SMP) during construction and early works activities. The role provides environmental leadership across project execution, ensuring that environmental commitments, permit conditions, regulatory requirements, and sustainability objectives are effectively integrated into construction planning, contractor management, and field activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of the Sustainability Management Plan (SMP) and associated environmental management plans during construction activities.
- Ensure Project compliance with environmental permits, approval conditions, regulatory commitments, IFC Performance Standards and applicable environmental legislation.
- Provide environmental leadership and direction to Sustainability / Environmental coordinators and technicians, contractors, and subcontractors....
