Job Description

ERM is hiringEnvironmental Permitting Specialists to support key client operations in either Albany/Syracuse/Buffalo, NY. The role holders will be responsible for managing environmental licensing and permitting activities for electric and gas projects to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal environmental requirements. This includes ensuring applicable local, state, and federal environmental requirements are communicated and implemented for a variety of projects from project initiation through design and construction. This is a full time (40 hours per week) limited-term role with a duration of 1 year, extendable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review electric, gas and facility capital improvement projects and facility modifications to evaluate potential impacts on the environment and the need for regulatory permits and/or authorizations
