Position Summary
The Senior Environmental Planner will play a key role in leading transportation and infrastructure Environmental Assessment (EA) projects across Ontario, with a strong focus on MTO and transit-related assignments. This role includes leading project delivery, supporting major transportation pursuits, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Parsons’ infrastructure practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Environmental Assessment projects for transportation and infrastructure assignments, including MTO, municipal, and transit projects.
- Prepare and oversee environmental documentation including Environmental Screening Reports, Environmental Study Reports, TPAP documentation, Environmental Impact Statements, and Environmental Effect Evaluations.
- Lead consultation and coordination with agencies, municipalities, Indigenous communities, and stakeholders.
