ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY of NMRTC CAMP PENDLETON CA. Responsibilities You will provide direct support for the comprehensive management of environmental programs. You will ensure routine pickup and maintain records of waste stream generation rates. You will provide oversight for hazardous waste throughout NMRTC's area of responsibility, monitoring generation and accumulation rates to maintain small quantity generator status. You will assist in implementing, inspecting, and enforcing all aspects of environmental media at the hospital and clinics. You will provide assistance, direction, and training to military and civilian personnel on environmental compliance, proper waste handling, and sanitation standards for waste accumulation areas.
