Equipment Technician

Job description Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of test equipment and hardware. Responsible for troubleshooting, calibration, repair and maintenance of Testers and Handlers / Probers platforms. Ensure equipment are in production condition with minimum downtime and running at yield specified. Responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting daily equipment downtime. Support test hardware maintenance and setup for engineering activities and production ramp-up, performing required test correlation and assist in new test equipment move-in and buy-off. Follow protocols to ensure quality control and optimal test equipment performance. Identify the cause of machine problems and implement permanent measures. Conduct machine ESD, grounding check and implement measures to ESD check findings. Document testing procedures and results to improve equipment utilization.
