Equity Analyst

Job title: Equity Analyst Job description: I) We are seeking a Research Analyst for listed and unlisted equity. Key responsibilities are: a) Research and analysis -- Company analysis - business model, competitive advantage, scalability, management, CG, etc (bottom up) -- Industry research - market trends and mega trends (top down) -- Valuation and Peer analysis -- Modelling: sanity check for assumptions and forecasts (not looking for excel minutiae) -- Due diligence if needed: plant visits, scuttlebutt, channel checks, etc.
-- Research / investment meetings with various stakeholders Above should culminate in generation of investment ideas and providing actionable recommendations b) Deal execution (unlisted equity) -- Participation in negotiation -- Broad understanding of deal documents like Term Sheet, SSA, SHA, etc.
