Role Overview
The role holder is responsible for the installation of elevators and escalators at client sites, following defined installation and workplace safety procedures and adhering to business policies.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect incoming materials against purchase orders to confirm completion and assess any damage.
- Prepare checklists for incorrect, short, or damaged materials for replacement procurement.
- Liaise with building contractors and site representatives for civil works coordination and installation schedules.
- Inspect lift shaft vertical alignment, shafts, door openings, pit escalators against shop drawings.
- Install machine room equipment, hoist way, pit, hall equipment, rails, and doors per shop drawings.
- Submit installation checklist to the Team Lead – Installations after completion.
- Clear pit of debris collected during installation.
