Job Description

Mission
Your main task is to answer questions from citizens and businesses on the European Union's activities and policies via telephone, email and other channels. The entire team provides coverage in all 24 official EU languages 255 days per year. You will be supported by a Knowledge Management system to provide appropriate and timely response.
Your role includes:
  • Replying directly to phone call or instant messaging enquiries
  • Drafting replies to email enquiries
  • Communicating in an easy-to-understand, jargon-free language about all aspects of the EU
  • Dealing with citizens and business in a professional, service-oriented manner
  • Identifying sensitive or complex enquiries for transfer to 2nd line Support Services
