Job Description
Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Supervisor organizes and oversees all production activities related to the department to which they are assigned.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate production
- Ensure that company policies, procedures, and regulations are followed
- Enforce and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Enforce and ensure compliance with the HACCP and SQF programs
- Ensure the efficient use of labor and equipment
- Monitor performance indicators
- Take action to achieve operational efficiency objectives
- Participate in continuous improvement committees
- Monitor raw material inventories for production across various departments
- Manage inventory distribution among the various warehouses to monitor available space in the production warehouse
