Executive Director of Design and Construction

Job Summary:
This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Facilities and Planning supporting the academic campus and research needs as well as the hospital clinical needs. The Executive Director will provide leadership, coordination and administrative oversight to the design, construction and facilities engineering departments for major capital projects, interior renovations, and special projects as assigned. This position is responsible for ensuring that the planning, design, and construction of capital projects are completed accurately, effectively, and in accordance with the requirements of the Hospital, College, and other regulatory agencies. This role will ensure collaboration with other facilities departments for long term, short term, and operational needs.
