Job Description

Overview The National Council of Indigenous Midwives (NCIM) is seeking an Executive Director (Remote) to lead the organization and advance culturally safe sexual and reproductive health services for Indigenous families. This is a collaborative, thoughtful, adaptable, and highly organized leadership role reporting to the Core Leadership Circle and working closely with CAM’s Executive Director to realise NCIM’s vision and mission.

NCIM is a non-incorporated, self-governed national organization led by a volunteer Core Leadership Circle. NCIM advocates for midwifery education, midwifery services, and birth choice for Indigenous communities, in alignment with the U.N. Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
